god forbid a woman love and want to be loved by a creature made of dead people

love how unapologetically colourful and over the top this movie is. peak early 2000s cinema 💚

Tiffany si THAT girl

Katniss Everdeen my girl!!! a female protagonist who’s resourceful, angry, suspicious of authority and way more concerned with survival than being liked. love to see it i like that the Hunger Games doesn’t need its characters to give speeches about how evil the system is for us to understand it. the difference between the capitol and the districts, the spectacle of the games and the way people are manipulated into accepting it all do most of the work. a few things could’ve used more depth, but really solid overall
