It’s a lot of fun. I appreciate the planned double feature concept. Pretty middle of the pack zombie movie good for fall. Death proof is way better but again this is still fun

This is climbing my Tarantino rankings. I found myself thinking about this one way more than a bunch of his movies and on second watch I realized why. He really nailed the aesthetics with this one, I loved the way it was filmed, I love both the first and second halves. The sound track is amazing, perfect setting. Maybe my only gripe is the dialogue at times is lacking.Kurt Russel is great as the antagonist. I think from now on I’m going to give movies I think about more, higher ratings because I feel that’s more indicative of what my tastes are rather than what I conclude immediately after watching.

One of my favorite movie genres are when they are so dumb it’s genius

Haven’t appreciated the sound design and score of a movie this much since Oppenheimer. The cinematography is excellent and amazing acting performances all around. I don’t have anything super insightful to say but I definitely enjoyed it. I especially appreciate how the film allows you to feel hopeful, many of the recent politically charged films end in doom and gloom, I just enjoy that it’s a different case here. Forgot to mention but it’s extremely funny as well, I feel a vast array of people would enjoy this movie.
