Dune: Part Two
i came into this film with high expectations and it somehow cleared them. from the very first shot, i was sucked back into this story world. the pacing is really good, it doesn't feel anywhere near as long as it is. Denis Villeneuve's cinematography is absolutely stunning in its scope, from the wide shots of the sand covered terrain, to the close ups of Paul and Chani. the acting is phenomenal, i was surprised when Chalamet wasn't nominated for an Oscar because i felt that he embodied Paul Atreides's character perfectly. in my opinion, this film might go down as one of the greatest in this decade, when all is said and done.
