Ballet Mécanique

the contrast between the music, the scenes, and them meeting in the middle, before the roles they play sort of reverse and they become the other is truly beautiful. the way the repetition of frames, music, and sound effects alternates between this space in between where they match one another, and the intense contrast between the two really brings out Leger's intention with the film. absolutely stunning.
