American Psycho

everyone goes on about how if you are agreeing with the joker you’re missing the point. this movie seemed to fly over the heads of so many people. guys! it was written and directed by feminist women! it is a satire! i literally read an interview with the writer and director in bitch magazine of all places.  i love this movie. it’s modern masculinity as a parody of itself. christian bale is gorgeous and unhinged in perfectly equal balance. some day i’ll write my essay about how this and ‘vampire’s kiss’ are two sides of the same satirical coin.
