Before Midnight

i feel like this one is my favorite from the trilogy, my judgement may be clouded because i saw the first two films of this trilogy on the plane with low quality audio and being not fully away BUT i really do think this one is my favorite cuz uk you got the first one a great unfinished love story where both of the characters have deep, genuine, human connection but it is kinda all sunshine, rainbows and glitter it’s very honeymoony i did love it alot and i did very much enjoy my time while watching it; and you got the second one, dare i say my least favorite, it was kinda expected and boring like ofc they didn’t end up being together and oh yeah ofc they met up again yearrrsss later in life when it’s too late for them to be together, still generally a good movie but definitely the worst of the trilogy. FINALLY the last movie. in my opinion it’s just PERFECT, its human it’s basically just conversations, like what’s the movie but 4 settings and conversations happening in those settings, i couldn’t believe how captivated i was watching two people have a convo in a car for 15 minutes. before midnight is real, it’s raw, it’s sooooo human it shows you the ups and downs of a relationship and the compromises that we make in romantic relationships, it’s everything fr. i loved it so so sooo much and it deserves to be my favorite
