maturing is realizing that it wasn’t just a silly movie about barbie dolls, it actually explored a lot of deep and important topics we’ve buried like it’s none of our problems but in fact they absolutely are. i really needed a film like that especially after all the drama considering feminism, the endless gender wars and the way some female artists act nowadays and how they destroyed the image of womanhood that we have all tried to make it as perfect as possible through all these years with their selfish and awful actions that made us fall apart again. i watched it by chance cuz i had nothing to do and i’ve never thought that it will make me rethink things around me that way, honestly i’m always expecting the best from greta gerwig she had a great pov and shaped it the smartest way possible to deliver her message to everyone.
