there’s a storm of emotions swirling in me after watching nana and i’m not sure how to feel about them. this anime didn’t just tell a story it held up a mirror to the fragile beauty of friendship and the messiness of love. the way they were so pure and loyal to each other even at their lowest truly warms my heart, it broke me and healed me at the same time. and how nana osaki tried to throw her stupid pride away even just a little felt like something powerful, that kind of sacrifice is something i’m not sure i could ever do. but one thing I’m sure of is that i genuinely found an unexpected comfort in this show and enjoyed it until the very last minute, it felt like the absolute cure to female loneliness, the kind only girls seem to carry deep in their bones.
