The movie places the protagonist into a dilemma, which even though its taken in the lens of a horror flick, is everpresent in the current landscape. I feel the movie's message is a criticism towards chuds (don't know the proper wording for it). The protagonist himself is a massive chud, putting others and Nikki in danger, to feel loved. Throughout the film, he presents the question, "do you love me" even though he knew the answer. The willow imo is an allegory for porn or any other kind of content like that, where chuds tend form parasocial relations with the actresses and models, who usually end up in the business out of necessity. These people are usually told to make the viewer feel more close and make them more money, for which these chuds fall for, even if deep down they know it isn't real, which is perfectly shown in the movie with Bear repeating that same question. He knows the love isn't true. He is the true villain, basically forcing Nikki to love him, even if he knew it was non consensual. There are some more stuff I want to touch on, like the hansel and gretel (I think that was the reference) but that would require spoiling the movie. TL;DR- The movie poses a question of what will happen if a reddit mod gets a wish from the genie from alladin, with no boundaries. P.S- There was this guy who kept on laughing loudly and doing a plot summary for some reason during the tense scenes im happy he got his mouth shut because of getting spooked from the horror

Look at my profile, whose parts do you think I only liked.

This is the most wes andersonesque non wes anderson movie that wes anderson has ever made.
