The Farewell

I liked this, it felt really earnest and human. I liked that emotionally this film felt intentionally restrained, but I wished the cinematography stuck to that conceptually a little more. The screenplay seemed really strong, my favorite scene was the family diner around the round table, felt like it captured a tension in a way I wish there was a little more of in the film. Overall I’d definitely recommend it.
