Serial Experiments Lain

I’m ngl, the story was insanely confusing at times but the vibe was really beautiful and the themes were wonderful and I really connected with them. It’s kinda crazy to me how well the messages hold up, you’d really think a show about a connected conscious through a World Wide Web would’ve came out at most 5 years ago, not over 25 years. Anyways, I’ll be back in a hour after watching a video essay so I can explain this story even better, I do truly recommend it though, one of the most wonderful shows about loneliness, figuring yourself out, how horrible the internet can be.
