how could something feel ingenuine and real at the same time. how can loneliness and love be so intertwined, it changes us. this film made me see a different kind of love, which left me both awestruck and dreadful about the possibilities that lies ahead all of us. as the credits rolled, i found myself thinking about how it must be to live in a future like this. at first, it felt weird and unnerving. falling in love with an operating system. something that doesn't exist in the real world. how is that possible? but as the scenes play out and the story unfolded, i found myself empathizing and believing that the shared bond of Theodore and Samantha could actually be authentic.
