Squid Game

using this as a rating for all seasons season 1: 4,5/5 season 2: 3,5/5 season 3: 2,5/5 the quality difference between s2 and s3 compared to s1 is very disappointing to me. it’s very clear to see the difference between something made so meticulously with love & dedication and something made in a rush without any second thoughts. while i didn’t hate season 2, i couldn’t find the same spark and attachment i felt towards this cast as to the ones in s1 and i hoped s3 would’ve added depth to each one of their stories. but then that just… never happened? there were many questionable decisions made in season 3 that left an extremely unsatisfactory and anticlimactic ending. plot points that were left without any sort of clarity/climax, decisions to kill off characters without any concrete reason behind it, and sometimes a whole character personality wipe that makes you think “the author thinks they know so much 😂” but i can appreciate the games in s2 & s3 as well as the beautiful sets that were made for each of them. everyone also did their best acting to make it as believable as possible despite their flawed and seemingly unfinished characters. also please don’t make an american version of this i beg, it ruins the originality and authenticity that was in the korean version 😭
