Train Dreams

**The world needs a hermit in the woods as much as a preacher in the pulpit ** A magnificent portrayal of human vulnerability. The film is raw, atmospheric, and imbued with a sincerity that makes it deeply authentic. The cinematography is particularly outstanding: instead of relying on modern dynamics, the film uses meditative still images. Together with the fantastic narrator's voice, they lend this touching, introspective journey a very special depth.
