Prisoners

At this point idk how many times I’ve seen this movie. I love it so much. From having my fav actor having a terrific performance (Jake G), to the way everything just ties together. I feel like this movie does a great job of not telling you how to feel but rather just makes you feel. From feeling bad for Alex to figuring out what Keller is going to do next, this film just keeps your emotions running in loops. Especially when you put yourself in the dad’s shoes fighting for his little girl, you can see what drove Keller to do these seeming irrational things. Also wow Hugh Jackman killed it. I usually am not a huge fan of his but you could tell how hard he fought for everything in this performance. Even the little things such as shaky hands throughout the movie really add to the immersion. I actually showed it to my roommate for the first time today and watching his emotions go all over the place really showed me how brilliant this movie really is.
