“Can i think about it?” “Yes, think about it long time.” Breaks my heart that i probably wont have time to watch all movies twice. Ive been seeing some people saying how with this movie or this book, andy weir is proposing the idea that when two intelligent beings meet, their main goal would be to keep each other alive and idk why i never saw that as an option because all ive seen were movies where foreign beings try to overpower or kill each other which brought me to the idea that movies and art are in fact inherently political and that at my big age, i should be way more conscious of what i consume and that i am exactly what i consume and though the world is a horrible horrible place and media that reflects that is very important, positive media like this and the recent superman movie is also incredibly important because what keeps humans going is essentially hope and love and the belief that a huge chunk of humanity is capable of those things. And it’s so so easy to be nihilistic and cynical to the point where i forget that being kind and brave and optimistic is the hard part.

I WISH I WAS ON A SPACESHIP JUST ME AND MY DOG AND AN IMPOSSIBLE VIEW

“You can have roots and wings, mel.” Quarter way through i thought this was broke manchild propaganda and was about to give it the worst review known to man even though it’s a broken marriage trope and ive been known to be a sucker for that but turns out it wasnt and it was actually quite sweet saur…

Idk this was kinda really fucking beautiful to me
