this film really set its self up for failure, beginning in the middle of the action is never good.. before the film even started, multiple people are already disappearing, we don’t know why they’re disappearing all we know is a bunch or people half naked are running around in a swamp. as bad as the start is, it might actually be the peak of the film. the rest of it is honestly a big pile of slop. from the really undeveloped characters which are really whiny, the constant humour which all just falls flat, really cheesy dialogue and a really shaky camera. this is basically everything bad in horror in one film, i respect it for definitely not being generic but there’s just nothing good about this at all, the gore is subpar, acting is passable at best, the plot is very unexplained and just really nonsensical + incoherent, the villains are ‘albinos’ and they go to a town called ‘wes craven’ (he really didn’t die for this) also it’s just a bunch of naked people running for an hour with a bunch of useless dialogue to increase the running time, i get that this was supposed to be campy but it’s just boring.
