in early 2023 I was deep in figure skating tiktok (specifically with the Russian skaters) and I had said to my mother: "it's crazy, I can't believe how much drama they have". She then went on to remind me of how that was clearly expressed in the hit movie Ice Princess and this film does nothing but prove that statement more and more true. I doubt there has ever been another sport that drowns in drama, toxicity and abuse the way that figure skating does.
