The Shining
Jack Nicholson pulls off a classic performance in the second half of this movie, pulling off one of the most, insane, and tense performances in horror history. I’m also a sucker for some of the shots in this movie, for intense the iconic blood elevator scene. In the beginning the movie is a bit slow but builds up perfect tension to build this movie up to being one of the best horror scripts ever made.
Also another plus is that just overall vibe of the setting of the hotel is what makes this movie so great. Now, let’s all take time and think, what is that 🐻 scene about? ( first time seeing this movie was when I was like 10 so I don’t remember a whole lot so this is basically a first time watch.)
