They really got me out here crying over some guy and his emotional support alien rock

Got dragged along to the cinema to watch this knowing absolutely nothing about it. Was better than I thought it would be tbh; the animation style was good and so were the songs. It was just a little bit too fast paced at times for me, but overall, not a bad watch.

🎶 *R-E-S-C-U-E, Rescue Aid Society... *🎶 For a film with the dark theme of child abduction and enslavement driven by mindless greed, that was rather delightful. I'd honestly forgotten about this film, but I'm so glad I rewatched it. I miss how Disney films used to look.

I think that I prefer this one slightly more, probably because it's bright, colourful, and set in Australia and not dark and dingey Louisiana. Also, Jake is hot, no further comment.
