Anna Karenina
There are a lot of things that i wanna talk about in this movie
As for the direction, it was a masterpiece, how every scene molded to the other in a really creative way always amazed me and the cinematography was captivating
As for the plot, the husband was the most pure and kindhearted in the whole movie although some would call it being naive and sometimes i agree. He didn't have to be this forgiving and he didn't have to be so tolerant yet he was. All for love
The actress really did a good job in mirroring the characters feelings and insecurity and how her selfishness destroyed all her relationships
I mean you had a good husband that you didn't love okay and then you had a lover and eventually your husband let you be with said lover and now you also ruin your relationship with the lover who already showed he loved just because you're insecure and finally you kill your self because he went out with a woman??
The irony is that she complained her husband nagged her when she talked to any male and she turns out to be worse than him
For the lover i kind of pitied him sometimes as he had to deal with her ups and downs although i think he didn't love her fully and he didn't sacrifice as much as she did to be with her. He was intact
Also one of the things that I liked was when they were dancing and for a moment, it felt like everybody moving. It's really showed out at this moment. For both of them it was like time has stopped and there was only each other's eyes
I gave this a 5 star because it deserved it. I was actually going to read the book but after the ending, i don't think i can take it
