Twisters

Twisters is a standalone sequel to Twister and it stars Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones. I will preface this by stating that I have not seen the previous film, but I have heard mixed reviews. Going into this movie I was excited to watch tornadoes wreak havoc. I was not expecting such a well structured movie and amazing visuals. The entertaining relationship between Glenn Powell and Daisy’s characters and their tension throughout the film allows the viewer to feel entrapped. While watching this movie, I kept thinking about what I would rate it, so near the end I had decided I was gonna give it a 4.5 stars for how beautifully shot it was, but then the last 30 minutes of this movie happened and it completely changed my mind and made me give it a 5. I had my mouth opened for about 15 of those 30 minutes from how amazed I was at this film, truly a masterpiece.
