Godzilla

This movie was really good. Once you look past the brutal effects/models (some scenes the cars, buildings, trains, and planes are very obviously models/diecasts) this movie is fantastic. Can’t ray too hard on effects given it was 1954. Good story, Godzilla is obviously iconic, and I really appreciated the fact that Godzilla isn’t in stop-motion, but a guy in a suit. The anti-nuclear testing undertones are a nice touch, and.. topical, for obvious reasons. This is a classic, and can see why it has become such a massive film series.
