the black and white cinematography of this is so iconic

amazing. Owen Cooper and Stephen Graham deliver two fantastic performances and they really make the show here. the cinematography is great and i absolutely loved the one-shot style it had. really emotional and tragic. can't imagine the grief they all feel. really excited to see Owen Cooper in future films and tv shows. loved this

"I'm so tired. Or maybe just my spirit is. My soul has been buckled, crumpled, flattened – by the sights I have seen" i absolutely loved this. every single scene is like a moving painting. the acting, the music and the camera work is amazing. really really recommend. definitely going to check out more of Yorgos Lanthimos' films

watched this in english class for some reason. and i didn't really care for this. to me it was just a big boring mess. the only thing i liked was the scenes with Gregg Turkington and Micheal Cera as cops, and other than that there wasn't really anything interesting. plot wasn't anything special and neither was the acting. i genuinely can't remember anything that happened and all it did was leave me bored and a little confused.pretty bad, but not terrible
