Hamnet

What a moving film. A beautifully shot, wonderfully edited picture. And the acting is mesmerising, Jessie Buckley gives one of the best performances of the 21st Century. The final scene is a perfect culmination of the characters built up over the course of the film. I do feel that, beyond the emotion, Hamnet struggles to be thematically deep, but it is otherwise an amazing piece of art
