***“It is important to die before dying” -Oliver Laxe ****Q&A with Director/Writer Oliver Laxe and Screenwriter Santiago Fillol at the Belcourt Theater!* Wow what the fuck*.* A must see in the theatre and go in blind if you can. I felt like I was on Universal Studios ride the sound design is insane. At the end I felt so disappointed but I think that was the point. After the Q&A and hearing the themes of the movie it made me love this even more. I think it’s important for people to realize that we don’t need a resolution the whole movie should be enjoyed and provoke a feeling that sits with you. Wonderful film and great to hear from the director and screenwriters. *(Oliver’s hair is spectacular)*

***YALL DO NOT EAT WHILE WATCHING THIS OMG*** Wardrobe department: *yes* Violence against women: *no *Plot?: *damn I forgot*

This holds up so well for many reasons. When you take inspiration from the best you have a movie baby that is just as good. The way the characters and scenes are written its like we’ve stepped into someone’s actual story and the events unfolding are so intense and I’m very grateful for the comedic relief scenes otherwise it would have been too emotionally exhausting. (im gonna throw up this movie is so good)

***what being catholic does to a mf*** > *Poster alone had me so interested. *First of all, the visuals in this movie are nuts. Shoutout prop design ((if thats who it was)) the stickers and billboards of hidden messages are worth a look! The way they tell a story of a father spiraling and going down a crazy hole to find his daughter in this way is so original. Highly recommend!!!!!!
