Lowkey not as good as other lynch movies and lowkey a bit derivative of them………😬😬😅😅😬😬 (also lowkey I am a bit sus of any movie that has a lot of boobs in it I’m not saying David lynch is gratuitous bc he’s literally a genius who deeply understands the female condition….but also it felt a little gratuitous…) But ima eat it!!!!!! Also this was fire after spending all last semester watching code era film noir. Also all the actors were cooking up a storm!! Everyone was so scared of the scary guy but I was thinking he could be a good Halloween costume lol. I wonder if David lynch has read After Dark. There was serious murakami vibes going on. Maybe I will end my hiatus this summer and reread Norwegian wood or even attempt IQ84

The bar was really high bc Days of Heaven is one of my favorite movies ever and it wasn’t as good and a bit more Wes Anderson.  But overall still so so awesome and beautiful I guess moral of the story is never go on a road trip with your boyfriend
