The Thing

Great movie. First of all, the negatives, sometimes I think the plot drags on too much or that I just didn't enjoy it. But otherwise, it's an excellent movie. The practical effects are a poem in themselves. Perfect, disgusting, scary, all of them are just effects. The acting is also great. We can always see the paranoia everywhere. It's clear that John Carpenter has made this movie his own show, a performance from beginning to end.
