Hamnet

I finally watched this film and I'm actually unwell. Tens across the board for every actor especially Jesse Buckley and Jacobi Jupe because they were exceptional. I can't believe there's people saying the William Shakespeare name drop was a plot twist did we not see him writing Romeo and Juliet or when his children were performing Macbeth or his entire To be or not to be monologue? I actually like that his name wasn't mentioned because it's not about him and so it shouldn't be focused on him, at least not as a main character. It's just crazy that people didn't know he was Shakespeare already.
