Daughters

Such a a poignant and meaningful documentary - had me crying in the first 30 seconds. The cinematography was incredible and I’m a sucker for film over digital so this really did a lot for me. The stories between the daughters and father being told are so touching and highlight the various emotions that encompass a family affected by incarceration such as rage, disappointment and hope. Honestly one of the best documentaries I think I’ve ever watched. P.s Aubrey is the cutest little girl in the world and I really hope she gets to have her dad home in 7 more birthdays
