IT REALLY IS THAT GOOD was a bit worried I wasn’t going to like this but thank god I did because this was absolutely fantastic. HITCHCOCK IS THE MASTER OF SUSPENSE!!!

I have to admit the first half I was bored and underwhelmed but I couldn’t resist being totally consumed into the final act where you see Mozart spiraling out of control with pressures mounting on top of him ultimately revealing that Salieri was never truly fighting Mozart, but the God who chose him.

Torn between a 4.5 and 5 just felt it was lacking a bit of depth on some characters especially lockjaw. Loved Leo’s performance in this and backing him for best leading actor but would be very surprised if he won. Wouldn’t mind Timmy winning and would much rather him over mbj. I did love the mix of comedy and serious themes very relevant today which was was genius.
