mid90s
sunburn!
after months of waiting, mid90s finally arrived on netflix and i got the chance to watch one of the most hyped up films. and damn is it worth the hype. idk where to start but the only thing i need to start with, is that jonah hill should make more films.
i think the way im going to do this is by showing every character by themselves.
fuckshit: i liked fuckshit, but he’s a bit of a wildcard. the way that ray describes the dreams of the two of them made it seems like fuckshit just gave up on it. but don’t get me wrong, i loved him.
ray: everyone needs a ray in their life. i don’t need to add much more but he just seems like a dude who’s soul purpose is to care for people.
ruben: no words just 🖕🏽
fourth grade: i feel like fourth grade is the best lovable of the bunch. he just wants to make movies, and in the end, i agree with his dreams.
and last but not least sunburn: stevie is genuinely just a little fuckshit. if pay attention to the two of them when they get wasted outside the shop, stevie acts the same as him.
ian can suck a dick, and the mom is reasonable.
now back to the film, the cinematography was another level of beautiful. i loved the feeling that it was all filmed on a camcorder, and i want more films like that. reminded me a lot of didi, but better.
“hey, but, baby what’s your number, though?” “that’s stevie’s mom”
