definitely recommend this movie. it does such an amazing job of storytelling and focusing on all the possible reactions that the group has together. my favorite scene (though it’s hard to watch) is definitely the bird fight scene. that’s when the movie really started to pick up for me and that’s what made the death even worse. I didn’t actually know what was going on until they showed the light and made the connection. It was such a beautiful death scene and the bird was my favorite character for sure.  I can definitely see why it won the Oscar for best animated film, it really had everything: triumph, despair, uncertainty, comedy, fear, and I think what really pushed ahead was its ability to portray relationships and growth through animation and very limited forms of speech.
