Blade Runner
Blade Runner is aesthetically pleasing and, in its meditative form, wonderful when it explores the question of what it means to be human.
It's one of those films you feel with your whole body and absorb with all your senses. From the visual stimuli of the neon lights and colors of the city, to the melancholic music that perfectly matches the scenes, to the goosebumps during the 'tears in rain' monologue.
The true, almost intangible beauty of Blade Runner lies not just in the film itself, but between the lines of the script and in the rain and fog of the city. We drown in loneliness and longing, yet still resurface.
It's okay to be vulnerable, to feel uncertain about yourself, and to search for your place in the world. It's a reminder of the fragile beauty of life.
I got emotional.
