I have no words. This movie is genuinely a work of art. I cried so much.

*sigh* Where do I begin... I think this is a **VERY UNREALISTIC** depiction of teenage romance or queer experiences. I loved the scene where Elle was speaking about the erasure of trans rights they are trying to do nowadays, but other than that scene, it felt more like a gay show for straight people to watch. I recently had a talk with my gay friend about the show; he brought up how this show is basically a bunch of gay fantasies written by a woman and how no true queer experiences are being written. It sends a bad narrative to young queer boys who are still trying to figure themselves out. I think a lot of queer media, especially gay TV shows and movies, are like that nowadays. I cannot speak much on that because I am not a gay man, but once I have another conversation about this, I will update the review. **NOW** unto the unrealistic depiction of teenage romance in this film... I think Charlie and Nick shouldn't have gotten back together. I think if they really wanted them to get back together, it should be in their 20s when they figure their shit out and know who they are individually. It's so stupid how he had one conversation with his mum and was like, "Oh, don't give up on you guys' love!" and he went back. To me, it feels like Nick still doesn't really know who he is fundamentally, but once you start working at a dog shelter and you have a talk with your mom. Suddenly you can communicate again and speak about your feelings??? Also, you guys are depending on each other too much... It's very cute, don't get me wrong. But none of this makes sense to me. I don't know; teenage love rarely lasts. But to any teenage couple that recently broke up because life is changing, and so are you guys. **DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE AND THINK "OH LET ME GO BACK TO THEM!"** **NO, YOU NEED TO FIGURE OUT WHO YOU ARE TO YOUR CORE AND MAYBE, JUST MAYBE *REALLY SMALL CHANCE MAYBE* YOU WILL BE TOGETHER AGAIN IN THE FUTURE, BUT YOU NEED TO MOVE ON. THIS MOVIE IS PROPAGANDA!!!**
