*Honeydew* was disgusting. It is the kind of disturbing that is completely unpleasant to watch. I don’t understand why the cast or crew wanted to be part of this, and I don’t know why they thought audiences would enjoy it. As a whole, *Honeydew* feels so out of touch with what makes the horror genre enticing. I hated it.

First off, I want everyone to know that I love Adam Scott like a dear friend. He can be the godfather of my future children. Second, before watching *Hokum*, I planned on writing that Adam Scott needs to stop booking movies and get back to filming *Severance*. However, I am eating my words, and I will not question his decisions again. *Hokum* is fabulous. The suspense and jump scares are creepy without being over the top, and Ohm is one of the best asshole characters that Adam Scott has ever played. His comedic timing is impeccable, and his cadence is flawless. In my mind, he’s a genius. Also, the rabbit-man television segment reminded me of *Candle Cove*, which makes me super happy.

*The Night Eats the World* was just okay. The plot was slow, the acting was fine, and the ending was very underwhelming. I would have liked more loose ends tied up and to understand a little bit more about Sam’s future in a zombie-ridden world.

“You can tell when it's an eephus. It stays in the air forever. You get bored watching it. I get bored. And the hitter does, so he tries to swing at it like normal. But it's already past him, or it waits until he's done swinging. The eephus makes him lose track of time. It's pretty mean that way.” That monologue is devastating. *Eephus* as a whole makes me disturbingly sad. Adler’s Paint and the Riverdogs should be allowed to play ball at their park forever. A film about a men's recreational league should not make me feel such large amounts of distress, but here we are. The final shot of the dark parking lot and rustling leaves says so much, even with no dialogue occurring or characters on screen. *Eephus* is a masterpiece. I hope it becomes a baseball classic in the same realm as *Moneyball* and The *Sandlot*.
