“Kenapa ya, perempuan selalu diikuti rasa bersalah?” I'm not Sundanese and I don't really understand the cultural background/metaphors that was going on. But I think THIS IS A MASTERPIECE. It shows the struggle and how the Anti-Communist political thought affect the local citizens back then. It also shows how woman have less freedom, even in front of her own family. I personally love that one scene where Nana meets teenage Dais. AND INO.. SHE IS THAT GIRL! Oh, and that one scene where Kang Lurah receives a letter and suddenly the song Sabda Alam starts playing! And when Nana just give him a death stare, the song went “Namun ada kala pria tak berdaya, tekuk lutut di sudut kerling wanita”.YES NANA YOU GO GIRL!
