One of the most visually pleasing movies I’ve ever seen along with a message I strongly believe in

It does what it needed to do extremely well, war movies are not my favorite but when done right, you can feel the weight of all the strangers around the world who have gone through or are going through times like these. Kubrick again comes with a beautiful score and amazing cinematography. But the dialogue is the real standout for me. Some characters performances did not connect with me and felt a little too “edgy” or trying to push a tone that wasn’t created too well. But the intent behind the dialogue within the performances is great. Overall this film is very harsh and tackles the reality of war, but specifically how war shapes the future for these young men. “For you all lives are created equal; only one thing is equal for all, and that is death”
