Marvel Zombies
Thanos get's his shit rocked in every universe.
I did not like the first episode of Marvel Zombies. I thought it was good in terms of character interaction but the action was fine, the death's felt really meaningless, it was very unfunny once they got to Yelena and Alexei, and the only real highlight was the Moon Knight vs Ghost scene which wasn't very long. But the other three episodes won me over.
The show is at it's best when it goes all out with the action. The long shot opener of 2, the Thanos fight in 3, the final fight in 4. When the show wants to go to work it cooks. The animation doesn't bother me too much. I don't like it but it's fine. The gore was very impressive though. I love a lot of the character interactions, highlights being Alexei Kamala and surprisingly Death Dealer Jimmy Woo. I was really interested in how they developed the world past the what if episode with Thanos and the stones. It felt like a natural progression whilst introducing new and intriguing concepts like Infinity Hulk which was fucking awesome. Moon Blade is sick, lovely that the first time we see MCU Blade is in this and he gets fucking murcked. The ending had me shocked but it was quite cliche.
But overall, I liked it. It's not brilliant, but for a 4 episode series that is about 2 and a bit hours I'd say it's worth your time. Would quite like to see Marvel continue spin-off series' like this in the future.
