How do you say no to God?Two scenes in particular really affected me. The Silent Night scene as well as Mark Ruffalo’s climactic “And they let it happen!” scene. Both are tremendously haunting and unsettling in their own right, and the Ruffalo scene had me feeling the weight of the entire movie in one moment. Fantastic work by him.  A captivating investigative journalism flick whose main advantage is the subject matter. Aside from a few performances, I don’t see this one stand out too much in the crowd. And I hate when people give label to movies based on outside factors, but can we imagine for a second how cool it would be if Mad Max: Fury Road was a Best Picture winner… (Also, this Letterboxd poster is fkn sickkk)
