15 Only started logging everything I watch in 2026 Favorites change often I don't have a specific metric for how I rate a movie but I try to take into account how good a movie is technically and how much I enjoy it with the latter often taking precedent over the technical stuff

Finally watching these for the first time before BND. Holy shit this takes forever to get going. In Raimi's first movie the buildup is paced a lot better even though it takes almost the exact same amount of time for him to don the suit in both. Aside from that I have no strong opinions.

It's pretty good but god the Peter and MJ stuff is really fucking annoying (also the whole movie's pacing is a bit clunky to me) and greatly dampers my enjoyment of this otherwise great movie. The train scene still one of the best cbm scenes of all time tho.

Not sure why so many people defend this one. It's still overstuffed, under developed, poorly written, and has some of the worst acting of the trilogy. I don't understand how they nailed the MJ and Peter stuff in the first one then fucked it up in this and 2. Overall this thing still sucks. The Bruce Campbell bit in the restaurant is hilarious tho.
