The Apprentice

Very surprised by this one. I watched it because awards season was coming and wanted to cover my bases. It was great doesn't present Trump as a cartoonish buffoon but a young inquisitive man who is shaped into a vindictive, evil, and farcical man by the people he sought out. Presents Trump in a very neutral tone which works for the film because if he were portrayed as a nice guy who turned evil it would come off as a pitiful story with no real message but on the other hand if he were portrayed as modern-day Trump from the start it would come off as facetious and disingenuous. Trump as a character was handled very well.
