sooo goodwish i could fully understand how insane it was when this first came out. similarly how insane it would have been when the iconic shower scene came out of nowhere before it became so well known.anthony perkins is brilliant and the stand out of the film - i loved his final shot so so much. janet leigh is also perfect to a T.i never knew somebody driving in the rain could be so tense, and watching her make mistake after mistake was agonising.filled with awesome camera work: the shot focussing on the money in the foreground when norman is checking the room, the camera swinging around norman when he's looking around and then goes towards the house. easy 5 stars iconic film and performance, hitchcock at his very best, making one of the biggest films ever.
