Dune

Very dense film, much of the book is directly translated to the movie. Its a unique story with unique settings. Images were beautiful; I was particularly impressed by one : Paul dreams of a future djihad where the fremens troops take over the universe and they hail him and his family as they stand backlitted at the door of a spacecraft hovering the battlefield. It's hard to describe but it was almost like a painting. Beautiful film, must see in the cinema experience.
