Almost Famous
*“so russell, what do you love about music?”
“to begin with… everything.”*
oh to be in the 70s. i wish i could live like this. Almost Famous is potentially one of the greatest movies ever made. “the only true currency in this bankrupt world is what we share with someone else when we’re uncool.”
this movie changed my perspective on many things. i LOVE movies from the 1980–2000 era like this one. they introduced me to a part of “music” that i never knew before. i also grew up around people who are still stuck in their “young life” and THEY are the ones who introduced me to this kind of “movie” and “music”.
“it’s all happening.”
a 15-year-old boy becoming a journalist and having this ADVENTURE with a rock ’n’ roll band? oh mannnn, i wish i were you, william. i hate the way they treated you, but damn i love how you stayed “honest” in the review you sent to Rolling Stone.
i almost gained a new personality when i saw russell. his hair and his outfit are awesome, but not his personality. i hated the way he treated penny lane, like she was just someone to play with and then he leave behind. but at least in the end, he tried to make it right.
THE LOVE OF MY LIFE PENNY LANE. you’re perfect in every way 🤍🤍
**ABSOLUTE CINEMA.
*if you miss me and I’m not around anymore, just watch movies like this. a part of my soul will always live in them.*
