Hamnet

A fucking massive movie in the most profound way possible. Masterfully written and constructed. Completely blown away by the performances.  Its struck some deep deep chords inside of me in ways I never expected it to. It’s not scared to dive deeply into its themes and it’s not pressured to answer questions or define itself in any way. Absolutely beautiful and devastating experience. I often forget about the immense power films can really have but then I watch something as honest and raw as this and I’m left with nothing but true silence in my soul that shakes me to my core and leaves me paralyzed and shocked at the stillness that remains. No more questions needing answers. An awakening. Death and rebirth. All in one movie.
