Ohh so I love when a creater can so perfectly understand the outfits of a specific period whilst making it their own, we saw in crimson peak now we see in this. I swear if I was made by any director nowadays I’d be made by him. I neeeed to a desperate amount to have every outfit possible and every building to waltz around. No one person understands how much red and green movies speak to me. They make the creature a less nuanced character as he seems almost purely empathised with rather then having second thoughts, but as an adaptation of a novel and not an inspiration I’d say it’s one of the best.
