Avengers: Endgame

I won’t deny that the movie is long, convoluted, overpandering, and full of little “Marvelisms.” But gosh dang it, it does a good job of wrapping up maybe the most defining series of movies from my teenage years. I still feel things about these characters I’ve been watching for more than a decade now. I remember feeling a high at the end of watching this movie for the first time (and thinking “how can they follow this up?” to which me from the future can confidently answer now: not very well), and although I don’t feel the exact same on subsequent watches, I still remembered that feeling clearly this time. This movie will always hold a special place in my heart. Please don’t remind me of the one scene though, genuinely painful.
