I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this movie, although I did expect something great from Greta Gerwig. This movie surpassed my already high expectations. I didn’t think a movie about a toy doll would be so emotional. This movie explores so many modern problems like capitalism and misogyny in a fascinating and entertaining manner. The story/pacing of the movie keeps you engaged the whole time, and it’s genuinely funny. There’s a ham-fisted moment or two but honestly I’d still say this movie is essentially perfect, and everyone should see this movie at least once (especially men).
