Perfect Blue

despairful, actually sad when you think about it. kid you not for a moment i genuinely lost it too, like what the fuck is happening, what is real, what isn’t?… i found a lot of this hard to watch in the best way possible, like yes it was so uncomfortable to get thru but its effective in the way that we’re put in mima’s head. it got to a point where my head hurt, from confusion, shock, a little terror, a lot of anger (for her ofc), so hard to grasp but so captivating. beautifully animated, edited, voice acting on point, and the 90s j-pop in the credits is the cherry on top.
